Sunset Sessions:
WHAT I WANT SUNSET SESSIONS TO FEEL LIKE.
When I started Reconnect, I wasn't trying to recreate nightlife.
I was trying to create the feeling of sharing music with people who genuinely care about it.
Sunset Sessions is probably the closest expression of that idea.
For a few hours, we press pause.
No rushing between venues. No crowded dancefloors. No pressure to perform.
Just great albums, played properly, in an incredible setting as the sun begins to set over the city.
Some people come with friends.
Some come with a partner.
Some come alone and leave having met people they never expected to meet.
My hope is simple:
That you arrive with an open mind, discover something new in music you've loved for years, and leave feeling a little more connected than when you arrived.

THE ALBUMS
Released in 1997, My Way transformed Usher from rising talent into one of the most important voices in modern R&B.
Packed with confidence, vulnerability and timeless songwriting, the album introduced classics such as You Make Me Wanna..., Nice & Slow and My Way, helping define the sound of late-90s R&B.

Usher
Criag David
Released in 2000, Born To Do It became one of the defining British albums of its era.
Blending UK garage, R&B and pop, Craig David delivered a debut that felt fresh, youthful and unmistakably British. More than two decades later, tracks like Fill Me In, 7 Days and Walking Away remain woven into the soundtrack of a generation.
My Way
Born To Do It
Both albums arrived at pivotal moments.
One represented the future of British music.
The other helped shape the future of American R&B.
Together, they tell the story of two artists finding their voice and creating records that continue to resonate decades later.
At Sunset Sessions, we'll experience both albums the way they were intended to be heard: together, uninterrupted and surrounded by people who love music as much as you do.
WHY THESE ALBUMS TOGETHER?
Arrive from 4:30 pm and settle in with a drink, or something to eat from the venue.
As guests gather, the soundtrack begins, and the atmosphere builds.
We'll then experience two iconic albums together:
Usher - My Way
Followed by a DJ response set inspired by the sounds, stories and influence of the record.
Craig David - Born To Do It
Followed by a closing DJ set as the day turns into evening.
There are no lectures.
No presentations.
No need to know every lyric.
Just music, dancing and conversation, good people and one unforgettable summer evening.
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU ARRIVE

One of the reasons I chose The Broadcaster for Sunset Sessions is its unique indoor-outdoor setting.
Whether you're enjoying the sunshine outside, grabbing a drink indoors, or moving between both throughout the evening, the venue was built for summer gatherings.
And right now, the forecast is looking pretty special.

WHY PEOPLE KEEP COMING BACK
Reconnect creates spaces for people who still sit with albums, discuss lyrics and believe the best conversations often start after the final track ends.
Across listening rooms, sunset sessions and cultural gatherings, we've welcomed hundreds of guests looking for something more intentional than a typical night out.
Whether you arrive with friends or come on your own, you'll find a welcoming community brought together by a shared love of music, culture and connection.
